Evidence-Based Assessments used to Identify Dyslexia
Day 1 of 2






Workshop will cover standardized test administration practices such as: examiner qualification, ethics and confidentiality, test structure, testing vocabulary, and score interpretation.   Learn how to administer, score, and interpret various dyslexia assessment such as the CTOPP2, WRMT, and GORT5.  Supplemental forms will be shared for the identification of dyslexia.   Participants must participate in the full two day workshop in order to receive a certificate for training in current research and evidence-based assessments that are used to identify the most common characteristics of dyslexia as outlined in the 2024 state dyslexia handbook on page 29.  
 

Important Session Information:


Participants will need to bring the CTOPP2, GORT5, and WRMT test kits and a blank copy of each protocol for group practice.  Participant must attend both days of training.  Training days are Oct 28th and Oct 29th from 9am - 3:00pm.
