The ASCENDER Secondary Scheduling Training is designed to equip campus staff with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully build and manage student schedules for the upcoming school year. This hands-on session will walk participants through the complete scheduling process—from preparing sections and instructors to collecting course requests and running the live schedule load.
Participants will learn how to enter student course requests using multiple methods, utilize pre-load and load reports to verify data, and resolve scheduling issues efficiently. By the end of the training, attendees will feel confident navigating the ASCENDER system to support accurate and effective scheduling at their campuses.
