This year’s theme is “GT in the Sub-Pops”, as we explore the various sub populations of students through the lens of Gifted and Talented Services. 

This workshop focuses on the concept and question about the use of IEPs for gifted learners, a specialized education service for Texas students. While other states require IEPs for gifted students, Texas does not. The purpose of the workshop is to just explore the concept and to get exposure on IEPs for GT that do exist and possibly glean ideas from them for instructional and behavioral accommodations for students.
