A comprehensive 2-day (one in person and one virtual) training opportunity focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is available for teaching teams working with students with ASD. This no-cost training is specifically tailored to address the unique needs of these educators and will cover crucial topics such as an introduction to autism and ABA principles, effective strategies for both responding to and proactively preventing problem behaviors, methods for discerning between motivation and skill deficits, techniques to foster student independence, various communication supports, and practical strategies for successful small group instruction. Upon completion of this training, educators will also be eligible to participate in a research project offering one-to-one coaching to support the implementation of evidence-based practices in their classrooms for free.
