Student support groups are an effective Tier 2 school counseling intervention.  Through group counseling, school counselors can support students at each grade level and teach them skills they need to thrive.  This session presented by Stephanie Lerner, TEA Counseling Program Manager, will provide school counselors with a blueprint for planning, facilitating, and closing psycho-educational groups.  Participants will learn various strategies and activities that are best practice in building their own group sessions.
