The RLA Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) represent the most significant changes needed to bridge the gap between research and practice. But the full day – with all 4 RLA RBIS – is a lot to process!
We will continue to explore the rationale behind RBIS 3 – Knowledge Coherence, & 4 – Text-Based Responses, and also utilize practical tools to implement these RBIS in the classroom. After a whole-group dive into the research, we will break out into K-5 and 6-12 teams to explore a variety of scaffolds and supports to benefit ALL students.
