This 3 day series is a comprehensive guide to  evidence based instruction giving teachers the knowledge base they need to help English learners develop strong literacy skills and achieve academic success. Teachers will get research-based insights on how to teach English learners, guidance on making connections across languages when teaching the key components of language and literacy, and ready-to-use principles and strategies for instruction.

Teachers will get research-based insights on how to teach English learners, guidance on making connections across languages when teaching the key components of language and literacy, and ready-to-use principles and strategies for instruction.

Day 3 will focus on writing development among English learners, including an understanding of the role culture and language play in the developmental progressions of written language for students learning written expression in a second language.
