Spotlight on Science: Energy Flow in Ecosystems
Grades 3-5






Join us for this SOS session that will spotlight teaching the Science TEKS in grades 3-5 science that target the energy flow in ecosystems.  This session will focus on how the cycling of matter though food chains and food webs. It will also touch upon how changes in ecosystems effect the flow of energy. This session will help prepare students for STAAR Reporting Category 3: Earth & Space in fifth grade.   Participants will focus on background information, scientific labs, and engaging activities to support our new science TEKS.  Participants will plan together collaboratively as time allows.

Please bring your technological device along with any adopted science resources.
