Spotlight on Science: Physical Properties
Grades 3-5






Join us for this SOS session that will spotlight teaching the grade 3-5 Science TEKS that target the physical properties of matter.  This session will focus on the various types of physical properties taught in elementary science including volume that is new to grade 5.  This session will that help to prepare students for STAAR Reporting Category 1:  Matter and Energy in fifth grade.   Participants will focus on background information, scientific labs, and engaging activities to support our new science TEKS.  

Please bring your own technological device along with any newly adopted science resources.
