G/T Annual Six-Hour Update 2025-26: GT Through the Elementary Lens (K-5)






This year's elementary lens six-hour update will examine the various sub-pops where we often find gifted learners.  Examples include gifted learners who may be emerging bilingual, dyslexic, ADHD, etc.  The format for the day will feature rotations in which groups will examine these specific sub-pops in detail and then use what they've learned in application activity at the end of the day.  This workshop fulfills the state mandate that all educators who are involved in providing a district's GT services attend an annual six-hour update.  If you have any questions, contact Steve Hammons at shammons@reg8.net.
