Using the Close Read instructional strategy, teachers can provide multiple opportunities to deepen student understanding of a text. Utilizing each genre's characteristics in the process allows for analytical reading, meaningful writing, and engaging discourse. Join us as we learn to guide students in developing the comprehension processes necessary to make sense of complex text sets.
