Managing Your Classroom: Beyond Discipline
Taking Prekindergarten Students from Compliance to Community






Classroom management is a must and it includes everything that happens before, during and after the school day. Consistent routines, procedures and expectations help facilitate student success and will directly impact student behavior. These "Managing Your Classroom" workshops will support participants' understanding of student behaviors and provide strategies for managing your classroom while guiding students toward making positive choices in your classroom and in their lives.

Important Session Information:


This session will focus on ways to nourish students' natural curiosity, help them develop their problem-solving abilities and experience a sense of belonging. The strategies shared in this session will help facilitate an atmosphere of community within the prekindergarten classroom, instead of one of compliance.
