This workshop will focus on 7th Grade Texas History content for the third grading period, both six -weeks and nine-weeks. In addition to content, time will be spent on instructional strategies, problem-based (choice board) activities, differentiation strategies, and other methodology to increase student engagement and to help make vital curricular connections students need to better understand and enjoy social studies. Participants are encouraged to bring their ideas and expertise for collaboration. This workshop specifically helps support new teachers as well as veteran teachers wanting to "refresh" on content.
