Stamping Strong Numeracy in Place
Grades K-2






As the year progresses to a close, we all want to make sure strong numeracy understanding is in place for kindergarten and first grade. This session will revisit and affirm strategies, number sense and foundational understandings of place value in our system of tens that these students need to progress on to the next grade level with confidence. This will be done with the use of concrete models and pictorial representations to enhance the understanding of the abstract. All of these ideas will build around and support the problem solving process, as well. 

Important Session Information:


This session focuses on kindergarten and first grade numeracy, but it may also prove beneficial for 2nd grade intervention.
