Developing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Mental Health

The number of students experiencing mental illness increases as young people grow older.  One in six school-aged students encounters impairments in life functioning due to mental illness.

This professional development explores integrating mental health supports into the academic experience to decrease challenging student behavior and increase classroom engagement and positive relationships.  This training will include: supporting student mental health, social and personal competencies, restorative practices, and trauma-sensitive schools.
