TEKS Resource System for Secondary RLA






Do you need a self-paced course to help pull pieces from TEKS Resource System into place so that lesson planning is more intentional? We have that! This three-hour course is designed to help teachers understand the critical components of TEKS RS. The three modules address the following: 1) Identifying the first-time-taught TEKS for the unit, 2) Mining the IFD and understanding the role of Performance Assessments, and 3) Creating Unit Assessments and evaluating the Pacing Tool and TExGUIDE. Upon completion of this course, teachers will have a deeper understanding of the Unit and be able to plan lessons to the appropriate depth for student success on STAAR-type questions.

Participants who register for this course in ESC Works will be sent a welcome email on July 17, 2023. This email will contain instructions for accessing the course. The course begins on July 17, 2023, and ends on December 8, 2023.
