This session will guide users in accessing, interpreting, and applying MAP Growth data from key reports and utilize the information for student goal setting. Participants will

• Understand how MAP Growth RIT scores measure achievement and help identify students' levels of instructional readiness;
• Identify ways to use MAP Growth data to create flexible student groups;
• Analyze MAP Growth data to support panning and instructional decisions;
• Understand the relationship of and differences between achievement and growth;
• Develop sound student learning goals using growth projections and learning statements from the Student Profile Report; and 
• Learn how to engage students in goal setting and build shared ownership of data with students and parents.
