Growing Geometric Thinking
- for secondary math teachers
Share
As society has progressed from a "Maker" society to a "Consumer" society, students' learned knowledge of geometry from informal settings has decreased. This session will take a look at the vertical alignment of Geometric ideas through Grades 6, 7, 8, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. As we explore this alignment, we will focus on connections and growth in each conceptual area.
