Esteem is an evidenced based curriculum improving the awareness and tendency of making healthy decisions in teens. The more teens are aware of dangers and consequences of risky behaviors, the more prepared they will be to avoid such situations.
ESTEEM helps to improve student awareness of the tendency toward making healthy decisions. The more teens and pre-teens are aware of dangers and consequences of risky behaviors, the more prepared they will be to avoid such situations. ESTEEM is a peer-reviewed curriculum that teaches the same core topics in an age-appropriate way for grades 5 through High School. This is a certification training for schools to use the ESTEEM Curriculum with their students and follows Texas Education Code – 28.004/HB 2515 for local SHAC’s.
