Spotlight on Science: Grades 3-5 Structures & Functions






Join us for this SOS session that will spotlight teaching "Structures & Function" in grades 3-5 science!  This session will focus on the various types of adaptations used by both plants and animals that are taught in elementary science to help prepare students for STAAR Reporting Category 4:  Organisms and Environments in fifth grade.   Participants will focus on background information, notebooking ideas, scientific labs, and engaging activities to help our students fully understand how living organisms have body structures with specific functions to help them survive and thrive in their ecosystems.  Join us for this hands-on session!  

Please bring your own technological device to access all materials.
