Join us for this SOS session that will spotlight teaching "Properties of Matter" in grades 3-5 science!  This session will focus on the various types of physical properties taught in elementary science that help to prepare students for STAAR Reporting Category 1:  Matter and Energy in fifth grade.   Participants will focus on background information, notebooking ideas, scientific labs, and engaging activities to help our students classify matter based on its physical properties including mass, magnetism, physical state, relative density, solubility in water, and the ability to conduct or insulate thermal or electric energy.  Join us for this hands-on session!
