Social Studies: Teaching U.S. Founding Documents, The Constitution, the Amendments, and Major Supreme Court Cases for Grades 6-12

Participants will work on instructional strategies, activities, and lesson planning to incorporate the U.S. Constitution, the Amendments, and major Supreme Court cases into their respective social studies courses. There will be hands-on activities during the workshop as well as strategies to incorporate new STAAR redesign questions into instruction. This workshop is designed to give teachers the tools they need to help make teaching the Constitution and Supreme Court cases more meaningful and relevant to students.
