Mark your calendars and register to attend the Region 8 ESC Student Leadership Conference for high school students on January 10, 2024.

By registering, district educators will accompany up to 8 high school students identified by the district as leaders who would benefit from a full day of leadership training and reflection. Districts are specifically encouraged to bring students identified for their gifted and talented program in the area of leadership, but may also bring other students who exhibit leadership qualities.

Once registered, the district will send Steve Hammons, Region 8 ESC's GT Consultant, the list of students so preparations can be made. Please email your student list to shammons@reg8.net. Districts are limited to eight students total until all available seats are filled.

Groups should plan to arrive for the event no later than 8:30 to pick up registration packets, and the day will conclude by 2:30 to ensure a timely arrival back at your campus.
