Virtual PD - WBSCM Series: RA003 - FDP Foundations - FORECASTING






Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) currently utilizes Texas Unified Nutrition Program System (TX-UNPS) to manage USDA Foods for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).  On August 1, 2022 TDA transitioned the entitlement management, ordering, and receiving functions from the TX-UNPS FDP module to USDA's Web Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system.


Important Session Information:


This is an ONLINE session for the Web Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) Recipient Agencies (RA).

This module will provide an overview of how to use forecasting strategies and tools to maximize entitlement for USDA Foods.

Objective of this class is for participants to be able to:

• RA Update browser and privacy settings for optimal WBSCM use

• RA Log into WBSCM Training Portal

• Identify WBSCM portal components and where to find content and system updates

• Identify WBSCM specific terminology

• Identify FDP Process Changes
