Participants will learn about the SBOE-approved procedures concerning dyslexia and related disorders. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) handbook provides guidelines for school districts to follow as they identify and provide services for students with dyslexia.  The Dyslexia Handbook was updated in 2021.

Continuing education for “an educator who teaches students with dyslexia must include training regarding new research and practices in educating students with dyslexia” (TEC §21.054(b))
