Texas Dyslexia Academy Module 2: 2021 State Dyslexia Handbook is the second of six training opportunities developed to assist school districts and charter schools regarding dyslexia and related disorders. In this course, participants will explore the 2021 State Dyslexia Handbook and learn about relevant changes, including:

  • Definition of dyslexia, its characteristics, and common risk factors
  • Understanding universal screening and data review for reading risk

In order to facilitate participant success in this course, each participant will need to have on hand the following items for the training:

  • Computer Device
  • Binder Tabs
  • Copy of State Dyslexia Handbook
  • Highlighter
