The First Time Administrator Academy (FTAA) provides a structured, systemic process for assisting the new principal or assistant principal in further developing skills in guiding the everyday operation of a school, leading instruction, adjusting to the particular culture of a school district, and developing a personal self-awareness in the campus administrator role. FTAA assists districts in meeting the certification requirements of TAC 241.15, TAC 241.25, and TAC 241.30. FTAA is 100% aligned with T-PESS and the Effective Schools Framework.
