The Tier 2 process builds upon the established Tier 1 system. It includes collaborative teaming and problem-solving that matches the needs of the school, its students, and their families.   Tier 2 supports are provided to small groups of students with similar need.   The types of interventions offered at this level will vary according to the needs of each school's student body, but all have certain things in common.    There is a clear connection between the skills taught in the interventions and the school-wide expectations.   Tier 2 interventions will be shared with participants so that they can begin utilizing these evidence-based strategies on their campus.
