Constructed Response Items - Laying the Foundation

Constructed Response Items will be on the STAAR test beginning with the '22-'23 testing cycle for all grade levels and most subject areas. This Secondary ELAR workshop will take a basic approach to laying the foundation for students to begin and strengthen the practice of supporting their answers with textual evidence.  We will score student work using a basic rubric, and examine ways to bolster student responses.
