Grades K-4 Picture-Perfect Science: Using Children's Books to Guide Inquiry

Are you looking for new ways to integrate science and reading in your K-4 classroom?   The Picture-Perfect Science Program was developed for this purpose by the National Science Teachers Association to enhance literacy through the integration of reading strategies with science content.  Amy Frierson of Texarkana ISD will lead this session as she models the inquiry-based 5E lessons developed in the More Picture-Perfect Science Lessons:  Using Children's Books to Guide Inquiry, K-4.  Join us as we learn how to combine science inquiry and the need for elementary teachers to enhance the reading skills of children in this engaging session.

Each teacher will receive a copy of the book, More Picture-Perfect Science Lessons:  Using Children's Books to Guide Inquiry, K-4, with the $40 supply fee paid to attend this training.
