Participants will work collaboratively to plan for the fifth and sixth six weeks grading periods of 11th Grade U.S. History for the 2022-23 school year. Time will be spent discussing content as well as effective strategies to create more engaging, meaningful connections for students and to focus on effective teaching and learning. Participants will also be introduced to a variety of activities, technology tools, and basic classroom management strategies that foster successful teaching and learning. This workshop is the third of three in a series this school year. Comprehensively, our work throughout the year in these three sessions will focus on student success on the EOC in May. These sessions will be very beneficial to both experienced teachers looking to bring new ideas and concepts into their instruction as well as teachers new to the classroom or subject area.
