This workshop will feature a morning and an optional afternoon session. The morning session will begin at 9:00 and end at 12:00. During these three hours, TEA GT updates, legislative updates as related to GT, and other programming updates will be provided.  

The optional afternoon session will begin at 1:00 and end at 3:30. This time is set aside for one-on-one programming assistance as needed by districts throughout Region 8.

Participants may choose to attend the morning and afternoon session or just the morning session if no one-on-one assistance is needed. The morning session will fulfill three professional development hours toward a counselor/administrator annual six-hour GT update as mandate by state law.  

Participants who choose to attend the morning session in the fall and the subsequent morning session in the spring will earn their six-hour annual GT update for counselors/administrators.
