For New School Food Service Directors.
This class is a 2 day class for certification purposes. It will provide food service managers with knowledge of food safety that is needed to pass the Certified Food Manager Exam. The course will cover sanitary laws and procedures and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). Participants must pass the Certified Food Manager Examination at the end of the training to receive the Food Manager Certification.
There will be a proctored EXAM administered at the end of day two. Participants who pass the exam will receive their Food Managers Certificate (good for 5 years).
We will accept registration in this order.
1. Food Service Director
2. ISD Cafeteria managers
3. ISD Food Service staff
No fee will be charged to current school district employees in Region 8.
