This session was designed to amplify student mathematical understandings and language.  Each structure supports any grade level and any mathematical concept.  But most importantly, the structures provide spiral practice, allow students to reason their understandings in manageable chunks,  talk through and share their ideas using precise language and visuals, justify their work with evidence, and communicate their reasoning.
