In a one day session, Jennifer Cook will focus on the basics of Photography and resources you can use to teach to your TEKS in the classroom. This course will help teachers become well rounded in the fundamentals of digital photography.  Four areas of instruction will be emphasized: How cameras work, how composition works, how lighting works, how to use photo editing software. You will receive basic instruction, demonstration, and see samples of the desired outcomes.  You will see what makes a successful photograph and what does not.
You will:

  • Be able to decide what type of lighting to use in a given situation to produce optimum results.
  • See how photographic composition can make or break a photograph
