This session is designed for teachers with newcomer English Learners in their classroom at the beginning and intermediate level of English proficiency. This workshop will provide useful strategies and techniques for content-area teachers of newcomer ELs. Participants will learn how to provide a safe and thriving environment, high-quality instruction, and ways to support their newcomers' social-emotional needs.
