Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance are the foundation of an Individualized Education Program. Inadequate or inaccurate PLAAFPs can undermine goals and objectives, as well as the accommodations and modifications selected by an ARD Committee. This session will focus on legal requirements - as well as practical tips - for developing PLAAFPs, goals and objectives that can be defended in court. Attendees will also learn the importance of and best practices for documenting the implementation of IEPs.
