Have you ever had a student lose their cool and continue to escalate only to make the situation worse? This session will help understand why kids get upset quickly and how to teach and work on self-awareness before an escalated behavior occurs.  We will also explore de-escalation techniques that support co-regulation to calm the student, the adult, and the situation to a productive level.
