This relevant and engaging flipped PLC model will include:
- Learn it: How do you introduce a concept for the first time? How do you assess students' prior knowledge of the concept to even know where to begin?
- Apply it: How will students apply their knowledge of the concept? How do you design/choose activities that are at the application level? How will you differentiate the application of the concept for the varying degrees of learners in your classroom?
- Connect it: How will students connect their understanding of the concept to STAAR? How will students connect their understanding to previous/upcoming units of instruction? How will students connect their understanding to concepts outside of the math classroom?
This session is comprised of 4 synchronous sessions and three independent videoed sessions.
