Day 4- G/T Online: Designing Instruction for G/T Students






In this online course, you will learn about innovative and practical ways to design appropriately challenging curricula for gifted students and about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) for gifted students. You will also explore strategies on how to conduct activities centered around convergent and divergent (critical and creative) thinking as a tool for differentiation. You will contribute ideas to group discussions, share your own experiences, conduct reflective research, and take quizzes and assessments throughout. This course is facilitated through Region 8 ESC's online CANVAS system. Once you have registered in the Region 8 workshop system, a link to the course will be sent.


Important Session Information:


In this e-course, you will learn about innovative and practical ways to design appropriately challenging curricula for gifted students and about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) for gifted students. You will contribute ideas to group discussions, share your own experiences, and research related information. You will take a 10-question test at the end of the e-course. Once you are registered for this course, you will receive a workshop ID in your email along with directions on how to access this e-course.
