G/T Day 1 Nature and Needs  (Face-to-Face Workshop)

This workshop will be provided for face-to-face attendance only.  Workshop will be canceled if conditions related to COVID prevent this type of meeting.  If there is a cancellation, participants have the opportunity to receive their six-hour update through Region 8’s CANVAS online sessions.

Participants will analyze the historical, legal and conceptual understandings of gifted education.  The participants will also demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics and behaviors of the gifted learner.
