In this online course, you will learn more about using assessments to measure student growth and the quality of a district's services for gifted students. You will learn about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) and how districts can use this project to ensure that gifted students are showing academic and personal growth. You will also learn how district services are helping gifted students reach the goals established in the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students. You will contribute ideas to the discussion board, share your own experiences, conduct reflective research, and take quizzes throughout. This course is facilitated through Region 8 ESC's online CANVAS system. Once you have registered in the Region 8 workshop system, a link to the course will be sent.
