Virtual PD - Tuesday's Tech-Bytes: Game-Based Learning
Game-Based Learning

Games have been used as a learning tool forever!  Think about the strategic thinking skills that chess has taught as far back as the Middle Ages.  What middle school student has not played Fortnite or Minecraft?  Games build an emotional connection to learning and subject matter.  They also provide opportunities to develop problem solving and communication skills.  I will share several templates with you that can be used in any subject area.
