Day 4- G/T Online: Designing Instruction for G/T Students






In this online course, you will learn about innovative and practical ways to design appropriately challenging curricula for gifted students and about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) for gifted students. You will also explore strategies on how to conduct activities centered around convergent and divergent (critical and creative) thinking as a tool for differentiation. You will contribute ideas to group discussions, share your own experiences, conduct reflective research, and take quizzes and assessments throughout. This course is facilitated through Region 8 ESC's online CANVAS system. Once you have registered in the Region 8 workshop system, a link to the course will be sent.


Important Session Information:


Registration for this course begins on 9/18/2020. The class will not open for you to begin work until October 1. All coursework/modules MUST be completed by November 13, 2020. Registration for the course will cut off on Friday, November 6, 2020.
