Day 1: Unleashing Leadership






Teacher leadership is about increasing pathways and opportunities for teachers to exercise leadership, elevating teacher voice in developing research-based practice, and expanding efforts that drive systematic improvements toward student learning.  This three day academy provides research-based resources that have proven effective in assisting schools to improve student achievement.

Important Session Information:


Day 1 of the Academy focuses on teachers developing a culture of leadership that communicates and seeks opportunities.  Teachers will identify and evaluate teacher leadership characteristics and explore effective communication skills.
