Social Studies Grades 6-12: Tackling the Social Studies Processing Skills with TEKS Resource Social Studies Performance Assessments Products

In a world of both synchronous and asynchronous learning, ensuring that not only our TEKS are taught and aligned with instruction but that also instruction and learning is fun and engaging for students, the use of the TEKS Resource Social Studies Performance Assessment Catalogue in providing project-based learning opportunities is more important than ever.  Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues throughout Region 8 and will develop lesson and unit problem-based learning opportunities for their students.  The product will be a process-skill based sharable Google document that teachers throughout Region 8 can access and collaboratively build upon throughout the school year.  This will serve as a valuable TEKS Resource-based document.
