Day 3- G/T Online: Differentiating Curriculum for G/T Students
Session 2-June 2020






In this online course, you will learn about traditional methods of reaching gifted students as well as newly-developed methods. You will learn what differentiation truly means and what it should look like for gifted students. You will also learn what is required by Texas law for the design of curricula for gifted students and what best instructional practices should be followed. You will contribute ideas to a discussion board, share your own experiences, conduct reflective research, and take quizzes throughout. This course is facilitated through Region 8 ESC's online CANVAS system. Once you have registered in the Region 8 workshop system, a link to the course will be sent.

Due to COVID-19, all GT professional development sessions this summer are online through Region 13 ESC E-Campus System. The sessions will be facilitated by Region 8 GT consultants Susan Huizinga and Steve Hammons.
