Elementary Comprehension and Response Skills: A Winning Combination for Understanding






Since reading comprehension is an internal process, student response activities can provide windows into a child's understanding. This workshop will highlight the comprehension and response strands of the revised Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, demonstrating the interconnectedness of the standards. Participants will gain "try it tomorrow" strategies and activities for pairing comprehension instruction with response.
