Social Studies: Strategies for Sixth and Ninth Grade Geography






Participants will explore various strategies and lesson designs to engage learners.  A focus will be on differentiation, PBL opportunities, vocabulary, pre and post assessments, TTESS goal setting, classroom management strategies, and integrating social studies reading and writing.  There will also be part of the day for teachers to work collaboratively in lesson designing.  Participants will work toward implementing things they learn into the classroom for both sixth and ninth grade geography.
