For the 2019-2020 school year, districts will be working to align the CTE sequences of courses they offer with the Programs of Study created by TEA.  Formal implementation will begin in the 2020-2021 school year.  The program of study initiative is in alignment with the guidance from Perkins V and will have significant impact on eligibility for state and federal funding as well as expenditure of federal Perkins funds.  

This session will be a work session that includes information from TEA related to Program of Study implementation as well as time to evaluate current course offerings and align them with the program of study templates.
